A Letter to My Future Self

Dear future me: today the hallway still holds the boxes we meant to unpack last month. I hope you remember that this was a beginning, even when it looked untidy. I am writing down what matters now so you can see what changed. I will not tell you what you must have achieved. Instead I want to ask whether you kept making time for the people you named on this page, and whether those names have grown.
