Fictional recollection The first car in this fictional account was already old when it came into the driver's hands. That distinction matters: the model belonged to one year, the purchase to another. The remembered freedom began with a short trip that had previously required a lift. The history would check the vehicle's identity, then preserve the owner's account of where it took them. Evidence and source treatment A car's model year and a driver's purchase year are different facts. The edition records both when known and leaves uncertainty visible. This is an illustrative excerpt with invented personal circumstances. A purchased edition replaces these with the customer's permitted memories and checked sources.
