Fictional recollection The fictional pupil remembers the corridor before morning lessons and the friend who always carried an extra pencil. A yearbook might establish a class or a club, but it cannot verify that small kindness. Four school years can be arranged as a timeline without turning every recollection into a dated fact. The uncertain details stay beside the story, rather than disappearing in polished prose. Evidence and source treatment School photographs and yearbooks can establish names, activities and dates. They cannot establish what a person felt without a supplied account. This is an illustrative excerpt with invented personal circumstances.
